Our amazing team of regulars and volunteers is committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action. We drive this movement headlong as we also partner with other artists, groups, and community leaders to make this possible while bringing and giving back to all communities in the Metroplex.
Bombazo DFW is an Afro-Puerto Rican cultural movement that was created to raise and build community by developing and fostering cultural awareness. We preserve our legacy by teaching kids and adults about the traditional Puerto Rican and Afro-Caribbean culture, dance, music, and roots.
To connect and inspire people to create community while using culture, music, and arts as a safe space of acceptance, inclusiveness, freedom, and empowerment. It’s our mission to honor and respect the legacy we inherited, and we strive and ensure that we represent and keep our Puerto Rican heritage and rich traditions alive through the test of time.
Bombazo DFW passionately believes in the power of art as a catalyst of change. We use our platforms, programs, and resources to seek innovative ways to foster unity and community. We constantly works towards creating a safe place where we can educate and influence our students about the beauty of diversity, and the importance of respect, compassion, equality, accessibility and inclusion
